The new released SIR - X front mount intercooler system, is specifically designed for the extreme performance Subaru WRX engine. With the special cross fins - high flow core the intercooler kit not only flows exceptionally well but also accommodates perfectly in the limited space under the factory front reinforcement and fits neatly within the factory front bumperbar.
Although it is huge in size, rapid throttle response is also kept in its design development that means high flow and cooling efficiency with minimal turbo lag. The piping is mandrel bent for improved flow and carefully designed to take the shortest possible route to reduce turbo lag. The BOV Port is correctly positioned and NOT on the hot pipe.

From our Dynapack Dyno tests there is a performance increase of 25% and capable of much more.
The new HDi intercooler kit utilizes dual cross flow pipe work to minimum bends and shortest piping length in which reduces turbo lag while increase efficiency (from 50km-140km a 1.6 sec faster was recorded which equals about 25 -30 meter in distance further ahead to the standard trim WRX when finish the acceleration test and with the same 1 bar boost not altered). The specially designed high flow bar and plate race core which allows more then 980cfm of high pressure air flow passage to ensure you to have all the capacity you need for streets and strips
