Atomic are very proud to announce the release of our latest performance enhancing product, high performance inlet and exhaust billet roller camshafts to suit the Ford XR6-T.

The cams are designed to produce more power by harnessing more residual exhaust gas heat, pressure and velocity to impart greater motion to the compressor wheel, which helps develop turbo boost pressure more efficiently. On the inlet side, careful matching of the valve opening and closing valve events to the piston motion provides much greater cylinder filling capacity, hence engines develop considerably more power from a given boost level.

Very minimal changes in manifold vacuum at idle occur following fitment, and it is not uncommon for engines to produce up to 300 RWKW from only 6-8 lbs of boost after carrying out the appropriate re-tuning to suit the cams' improved breathing. The lobe profiles are the latest inverted flank asymmetrical designs, with a faster rate of lift to allow the passage of intake/exhaust gases more efficiently. The actual valve lift is only increased slightly to maintain valvetrain stability at high RPM and, as they are brand new billets, the standard base circle diameter is retained.

New valvesprings are required to be used with these camshafts. We sugest the Atomic Heavy Duty valvesprings and matched chrome moly retainers. Many other aftermarket valvesprings will also work.

Advertised Inlet duration - 251 degrees

Advertised Exhaust duration - 251 degrees

Duration at .050" lift - 173.5 degrees

Lobe lift - inlet and exhaust - .212"
